ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for leading MESHKI’s financial management function, ensuring stability, compliance, and sound strategic decision-making as the brand continues to scale globally. You’ll partner closely with our Executive Leadership team to shape the financial strategies that underpin our growth, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who combines commercial acumen with a genuine passion for developing people and processes – someone who sees financial leadership not just as a function, but as a driver of the brand’s broader ambitions.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Leading MESHKI’s end-to-end financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and month-end reporting
• Preparing accurate financial reports and board reporting in line with company standards
• Monitoring cash flow, budgets, and foreign exchange (FX) strategies
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making
• Overseeing accounting operations, reconciliations, and the integrity of the Chart of Accounts
• Managing global tax compliance and the company’s hedging programme
• Owning the ERP/Finance stack (NetSuite) and driving automation opportunities
• Overseeing payroll management, ensuring compliance with contracts and regulations
• Leading, mentoring, and developing the finance team to foster a high-performance culture
• Engaging with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities as MESHKI’s key financial contact

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within retail, fashion, or DTC
• Strong working knowledge of NetSuite or a comparable ERP/finance system
• Demonstrated experience managing FX exposure and hedging strategies
• A track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
• Strong understanding of global tax compliance and payroll regulations
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to process improvement and automation
• CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent)
