Diversional Therapist

Pathways Residences is a luxury Residential Aged Care provider in Sydney. We are currently looking for a Diversional Therapist to join our team. This is a full time role, Mon-Fri based in Northbridge NSW 2063.

The role: As a Diversional Therapists, you will lead the Lifestyle Team. 

The role will see you design, coordinate and implement recreational activities for our Residents. You will be a beacon of leadership and motivation to the team that you lead - which will have recreational officers, personal care workers and other support staff such as bus drivers. You will be responsible for the recreation, diversional therapy, bus trips, outings and events being held. You will ensure the team delivers engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs that enhance residents' physical, emotional, social, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing. The role will see you work alongside other allied health experts within the residence and leverage their expertise to elevate your programs.

About you:

• Fun, outgoing, energetic!

• Hold a relevant qualification - e.g. Cert IV in Leisure and Health / Bachelor of Health Science (Diversional Therapy)

• Experience in running programs and events

• Experience in health care, aged care, disability or community highly regarded

• Can lead a team

• Organised
