Project Coordinator / Estimator

We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator / Estimator to join our office-based team in Roselands, NSW 2196. 

About the role:

As a Project Coordinator / Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre and post construction phase of projects, assist in setting up the projects, preparing tenders with detailed cost estimates, preparing project handover documents and manuals. You will work closely with Senior estimator and project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are properly set up and performing as per the plans and specifications. 

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Assist in tendering of projects by preparing a detailed cost estimates for projects by analysing plans, specifications, proposals, and other documentation.

• Be responsible for ensuring documents in construction portals are up-date

• Update plans using Autocad

• Prepare operations and maintenance manuals

• Liaise with suppliers for quotes and product specifications to ensure they match the project requirements

• Prepare equipment schedules

• Interact with project management teams to ensure all projects are performing as per construction plans and specifications.

To be successful you will need:

• Diploma or equivalent in engineering with 1+ year of experience in HVAC

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. 

• To meet deadline and are detail-oriented.

• Be well presented, reliable and punctual.

• Be a team player.

• Willing to learn and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Construction site/trade background desirable.

• Strong communication skills as well as documentation.
