Facilities & Cleaning Team Member

About the role

This is a hands-on role supporting the day-to-day presentation, cleanliness, hygiene and organisation of a busy food manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Facilities Supervisor, you will play an important role in ensuring the site remains clean, organised, well-stocked and maintained to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day cleanliness and presentation of the facility

• General housekeeping and facility support

• Replenishment of PPE, amenities and general consumables

• Managing laundry and cleaning equipment

• Maintaining staff kitchen and amenity areas

• Supporting scheduled weekly cleaning and housekeeping activities

• Maintaining stock levels and reporting when supplies require replenishment

• Identifying and reporting maintenance, cleaning or facility issues

• Following site cleaning schedules, procedures and hygiene requirements

• Supporting the Facilities Supervisor with general facility requirements

The role will involve working around an active food manufacturing environment, so attention to hygiene, safety and detail is essential.

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, facilities, hospitality, food manufacturing or a similar environment will be highly regarded.

Experience working within a GMP, food manufacturing or hygiene-controlled environment is advantageous, however full site-specific training will be provided to the successful candidates.
