The role:

You’ll be carrying out overhauls on AC and DC electric motors from surface and underground mining equipment including shuttle cars and continuous miners. 

You don’t necessarily need to have flameproofing experience, but if you do, you’ll hit the ground running.

You’ll be joining a highly talented team of electrical fitters that pride themselves on their work ethic and quality outputs.

Quals & experience requirements: 

• Electrical trade certificate.

• Experience in overhauling electrical motors.

• Experience in dismantling and inspecting electrical motors.

• Forklift & dogging certificates are highly regarded.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Demonstrated commitment to safety.

• Accuracy & attention to detail.
