Site Operator

Our client, a well-established regional employer within the manufacturing and processing sector is seeking experienced and motivated Site Operators to join their team in Wagga Wagga.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, operating machinery, being part of a team and take pride in maintaining a safe and efficient site operation.

About the Position

You will be involved in a range of operational activities, from handling incoming materials, storage and product dispatch. The role requires a proactive approach, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy and teamwork.

You will be responsible for operating plant and equipment, handling truck loading and unloading, carrying out product classification and dispatch.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assisting with the movement and handling of materials across the site

• Operating machinery such as forklifts, loaders or other plant equipment (training provided where required)

• Supporting truck loading and unloading activities

• Carrying out routine checks, sampling and product inspections

• Using site systems and equipment as needed  (weighbridge, dispatch processes)

• Contributing to a clean, safe and organised work environment

• Working alongside production, maintenance and other key teams

• Following site procedures and safety requirements at all times

• Availability to support rotating or weekend shifts if needed

About You

We are looking for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious and great team players.

• Previous experience in a hands-on, operational or labour-based role

• Exposure to warehouse, manufacturing or agricultural environments

• A forklift and Front-end loader experience (Having a current licence is beneficial but not essential)

• A strong focus on following processes and working safely

• Good communication skills and a team-first mindset

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
