Medical Receptionist

About the role

Park Family Practice is seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our friendly team in Bondi Junction, NSW. This is a casual role, perfect for a Uni student looking to fill up a few extra days of their week. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.

What you'll be doing

• Greet and welcome patients, offering exceptional customer service

• Schedule appointments and manage patient bookings efficiently

• Handle patient inquiries and provide information about our services

• Perform general administrative duties, such as filing and data entry

• Assist with billing and Medicare claims processing

• Maintain a clean and organised reception area

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service role

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients

• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

• Proficient in using computer systems (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc)

• A warm, friendly and professional demeanour

• Flexibility to work 15 -20 hours a week and pick up shifts as required particularly in Uni breaks

• Start date as soon as possible (Must have availability on Tuesdays & Wednesdays
