The Role

As one of the most exciting stages of the building journey, prestart is where our clients begin to see their dream home come to life. As our Prestart Consultant, you'll be the trusted guide throughout this process, helping clients confidently select the finishes, fixtures and features that reflect their lifestyle while ensuring every decision is practical, buildable and aligned with their budget.

Working closely with our drafting, estimating and construction teams, you'll coordinate the transition from design to construction, ensuring selections are accurately documented, compliant and ready for site. Your ability to balance customer experience with attention to detail will play a key role in delivering the exceptional homes Fratelli is known for.

You'll be responsible for:

• Guiding clients through their prestart appointments and providing expert advice on colours, finishes, fixtures and upgrades.

• Building genuine relationships and creating a positive, enjoyable experience for every client.

• Preparing accurate selections documentation and managing client variations.

• Ensuring all selections are practical, compliant and ready for construction.

• Liaising with drafting, estimating, suppliers and construction teams to resolve buildability issues before site commencement.

• Maintaining accurate information within our systems and ensuring documentation is completed on time.

• Keeping up to date with current products, trends and supplier offerings to provide informed recommendations.

About you

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

• Experience in prestart, design consulting or a similar role within residential construction.

• Strong knowledge of residential building materials, finishes, fixtures and suppliers.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of clients.

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong organisational skills and confidence working within structured processes and deadlines.

• The ability to identify practical construction considerations while still delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Experience working collaboratively with drafting, estimating and construction teams.

• Proficiency using Microsoft Office and construction software such as Constructive, Truth Engine or similar.

Highly regarded:

• Qualifications in Interior Design, Building Design or a related discipline.

• Experience managing client variations.

• Knowledge of WA residential building requirements and the National Construction Code. Knowledge of WA building regulations and the National Construction Code will be advantageous.
