Termite and Pest Control Technician — Experienced

Selectapest has been protecting South East Queensland homes and businesses for over 15 years. We're a family-run, locally owned business — not a call centre with a logo — and we're expanding, which means we're looking for experienced, licensed pest management technicians to join our team.

We're focused on Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Pest Risk Management (PRM) — looking beyond simply treating the pest in front of us. We want our technicians to understand why pest activity is occurring, identify contributing conditions and help clients reduce their ongoing pest risk through practical recommendations, prevention, monitoring and targeted treatment.

If you're a licensed pest management technician looking for a role where you can take ownership of your work, build relationships with clients and be part of a growing local business, we'd like to hear from you.

You'll be part of a team small enough that your work is actually seen — by us and by the clients who ask for you by name. We want technicians who take pride in solving problems properly, not simply getting through a job list.

• Inspect and treat termite and general pest infestations

• Apply IPM and PRM principles to identify pest risks and contributing conditions

• Build treatment and management plans that fit the property, not a script

• Identify and communicate practical prevention and risk-reduction measures

• Talk to clients like a professional who knows what they're doing

• Educate clients on prevention, ongoing protection and long-term pest management

• Current pest management licence with the appropriate endorsements to carry out general pest and termite work

• Genuine interest in pest and termite management

• Comfortable and competent working independently

• Willingness to learn and apply IPM and PRM principles rather than relying solely on treatment

• A real focus on customer service — you're often the only face of the company a client sees, and how you treat them matters
