EMPLOYMENT FACILITATOR – GROUND WORKS (FULL-TIME)

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday (Annual Salary - $76,372.40)

Our Ideal Candidate

• Available to work full-time, Monday to Friday
• Holds a current NSW Driver's Licence (P2 or Full)
• Willingness to drive a Unisson vehicle
• High levels of enthusiasm, initiative and a positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Emotional intelligence, resilience and capacity to perform the work required
• Experience working with people with disability or in a similar role (desirable)
• Certificate III and/or IV in Disability, Community Services, Horticulture or a related field (desirable)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, innovative and resilient individual to join our team in a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, supporting supported employees participating in Grounds Works services at the Greg Norman Estate in Gledswood Hills.

This role combines direct support responsibilities with practical landscaping and grounds maintenance activities. You will work alongside supported employees, assisting them to develop skills, build confidence and participate in meaningful employment opportunities within a professional outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and encourage supported employees to participate in meaningful work activities.
• Assist supported employees to undertake landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, whipper snipping, weeding, mulching, planting, pruning and general garden maintenance.
• Provide coaching and guidance to develop workplace skills and independence.
• Use manual handling techniques specified in a client's comprehensive person-centred plan.
• Support each supported employee and interact with their family members and stakeholders while respecting their dignity, cultural background and religious beliefs.
• Be part of developing, implementing, maintaining records and reviewing each client's comprehensive person-centred plan and behaviour support plan.
• Provide support for complex behaviours using a person-centred and strengths-based approach.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work cooperatively as part of a team and treat all colleagues with respect.
• Respond to all incidents and injuries in accordance with Unisson policies and procedures and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Standards.
