As our Installation Manager, you'll oversee our entire installation department while working closely with the Directors, Service Manager, office team and field technicians.

This is a hands-on leadership position.

You'll spend time in the office, the warehouse and out on-site supporting technicians, solving problems and ensuring every installation meets The Plumbing Gang standard.

You'll be responsible for developing people, improving systems and ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish.

• Lead, coach and mentor our installation technicians.

• Deliver regular technical training sessions.

• Train and develop apprentices through structured mentoring.

• Conduct toolbox talks and ongoing skills development.

• Build a culture of accountability, professionalism and continuous improvement.

• Ensure every installation meets company workmanship standards.

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.

• Attend sites to provide technical direction and hands-on support where required.

• Assist technicians in solving complex installation issues.

• Improve and maintain installation procedures and best practices.

• Ensure all compliance documentation is completed accurately.

• Manage Form 4 certificates.

• Complete Home Warranty paperwork.

• Ensure technicians complete all job completion forms, photos and documentation correctly.

• Maintain company standards across every completed project.

• Schedule and coordinate installation work.

• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Work closely with office staff to coordinate installations.

• Manage labour allocation and workflow.

• Monitor project performance and profitability.

• Maintain exceptional housekeeping standards throughout the warehouse and factory.

• Ensure vehicles are stocked correctly.

• Monitor tools, equipment and materials.

• Ensure technicians have everything required before attending site.

• Onboard new technicians using our proven onboarding process.

• Check licences, tools, equipment, uniforms and vehicle setup.

• Ensure every new team member is properly equipped for success from Day One.

• Continue mentoring new technicians throughout their probation period.

You'll ideally have:

• QBCC Plumbing Licence

• Extensive residential plumbing installation experience

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience

• Excellent communication skills

• Strong organisational ability

• High attention to detail

• Confidence leading people

• Strong problem-solving ability

• Current Australian Driver Licence
