Casual | Level 2 Pay Point 1 up to Level 2 Pay Point 4 (depending on experience)
Exciting opportunities exist for enthusiastic and innovative Disability Support Workers to be part of our team working with people with disabilities to achieve their goals.

About us:
Windarring is a registered Disability Service Provider in central Victoria providing community participation programs, employment supports, centre-based programs, youth programs, supported living and respite care. We have sites in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton and Gisborne.
We are passionate about participants achieving their potential. You’ll have the opportunity to make a difference in a supportive culture, allowing you to focus on what you do best.
Applicants must be willing and able to work across all Windarring locations, including Gisborne, Kyneton, Castlemaine and Bendigo. We are currently looking for casual disability support workers for our Gisborne, Kyneton and Castlemaine sites. Applicants must have access to their own vehicle and be able to transport participants as required, with appropriate vehicle insurance in place. You will have access to salary packaging and opportunities for professional development.
The Role:
The support worker works with people with disability supporting them to live fully in their community and to meet individual plans and goals. Work can be centre-based, in the community or in a participant’s home.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will have:
A strong participant focus to ensure individual outcomes are achieved.
Flexibility to work in a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated respect for clients as valued members of their community and understanding their goals and aspirations.
Desirable criteria:
Cert III or Cert IV in Disability Support Services.
Studying or enrolled to study Cert III or Cert IV in Disability Support Services or a related field.
Relevant work experience in Disability Support Services or a related sector.
A lived experience of disability.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check .
Current Employee Working With Children Check.
