An opportunity exists for an experienced Oracle Developer to contribute to critical technology projects in the public sector. The role will involve developing and supporting Oracle forms / Reports and Apex and other Oracle applications with strict adherence to quality standards and best practices.

A public sector organisation based in Melbourne, focused on delivering essential services and solutions. They are automating existing manual processes in the SDLC to eliminate human-errors and achieve productivity and efficiency gains through build and test automation.
Description
Develop, test, and implement Oracle-based solutions to meet project requirements.Optimise and maintain existing Oracle databases and applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system improvements.Write and optimise SQL queries for performance and reliability.Ensure data integrity and security across all Oracle systems.Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Oracle-related issues.Document technical specifications and system processes.Stay updated on the latest Oracle technologies and implement best practices.
Profile
A Successful Oracle Developer Should Have
5+ years of experience in large enterprises throughout SDLC with the primary focus on implementation, development and support of Oracle Forms and PL/SQL (Oracle BI - OBIEE/ODI highly desirable)Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL programming.Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database issues.Knowledge of best practices for database performance and security.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
