About the role
Use your analytical expertise to influence commercial decisions in one of Australia's leading FMCG manufacturers.
As our next Cost & Forecast Analyst, you'll play a key role in forecasting, product costing and business analysis while partnering with Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement and Operations to support business growth.

About the RoleReporting to the Commercial Services Manager, you'll be responsible for maintaining accurate forecasting, product costing and master data that supports business performance.
Working closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Operations, you'll provide valuable insights that improve forecasting accuracy, support our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process and help identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesYou'll be responsible for:
Prepare and maintain monthly demand forecasts while improving forecast accuracy.
Support the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Maintain Bills of Materials (BoM), product costing and ERP master data.
Analyse business performance, identify cost trends and recommend improvements.
Monitor inventory planning parameters, including EOQ and minimum stock levels.
Produce reports and commercial insights that support business decision-making.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems and turning analysis into meaningful business insights. You'll be highly organised, detail-focused and confident communicating with stakeholders across multiple departments.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:Experience in forecasting, planning, costing, commercial analysis or supply chain analysis.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience using ERP systems (Pronto or similar preferred).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience within manufacturing or FMCG.
Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BoM) and product costing.
Experience supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
Qualifications in Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
Experience with business intelligence or data visualisation tools.
