Manager People and Culture

Waratah-Wynyard Council have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager People & Culture to support our growing municipality.

Are you an experienced People & Culture leader ready to make a meaningful impact across our organisation? Waratah Wynyard council are seeking a Manager People and Culture to provide strategic and operational leadership across our People and Safety functions.

This is a key leadership role with the opportunity to shape how we attract, develop, support and retain people while building organisational capacity, strengthening leadership and fostering a positive, accountable and high performing workspace.

This is a permanent full-time position working 75 hours over a 9-day fortnight.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in EBA process, with high developed communication and negotiation skills.

• The ability to provide considered strategic advice and influence decision making at senior and executive levels.

• Strong experience across people & culture, organisational development, workforce planning and employee relations.

• Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Work Health and Safety.
