Installer - Labourer

Become an essential member of the install team at PlayQuip. We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable labourer/installer. This is a hands-on role, essential to deliver successful and effective results for our customers.

PlayQuip has served the South Australian community for almost 30 years, designing, building and sustaining innovative playgrounds, outdoor fitness, and park furniture. PlayQuip is the proud partner of the PlayCo Group of companies which include ForPark Australia, ASpace, Playworks, RhinoPlay and PlayOn.  

If you are successful you will need to:

• Obtain a Working with Children card

• Produce or obtain a National Police Clearance

The Minimum Requirements:

• Proficient with hand and power tools

• Enjoy building and assembling items

• A professional manner and strong work ethic

• Communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

• Desire to learn and take on challenges

• Arrive promptly to the Salisbury office to then travel to site in work vehicles

• Work safely to ensure no harm comes to you or others

What Is Required:

• A high level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour duties

• A manual C class licence

• Basic computer skills

• Experience in carpentry or trade qualified is preferred

• Landscaping or Construction experience is desirable

• Experience with 2D production and construction drawings is desirable

• Your own basic PPE - steel capped boots and high vis clothing (PlayQuip branded uniforms are supplied for ongoing employees)

This can be strenuous work, especially during the hot months. You will need to be physically active in different types of situations and weather types.
