Playground installer/labourer

About the role

Built 2 Play Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Playground Installer/Labourer to join our team in Penrith and surrounds NSW 2750. This is a Casual/full-time position that offers flexible working arrangements to suit your schedule. In this role, you will be instrumental in bringing play spaces to life, working on the installation and construction of playgrounds across various sites. You will be part of a dedicated team committed to creating safe, engaging, and high-quality play environments for communities. Your technical skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety will be essential to the success of every project we undertake.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the installation of playground equipment, structures, and surfaces at various sites

• Preparing and levelling ground areas for playground installation in accordance with safety standards and project specifications

• Assembling and constructing playground components using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment

• Ensuring all installations comply with relevant Australian safety standards and building codes

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to workplace health and safety protocols

• Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project completion

• Providing general labour support and assistance as required throughout projects

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in playground installation, landscaping, construction, or related trades

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting and working at heights when required

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport

• Working with Children Check (WWC) or willingness to obtain one

• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic
