Maintenance Team Member

Alinea is a Western Australian Charitable Organisation that is dedicated to supporting individuals living with disabilities.  Alinea’s operations include a wide range of services in Aged Care & Retirement Living, Supported Employment, Home Care Support and Recreation Services.   All of the services and programs are designed to cater for the individual needs of our clients. Our dynamic approach to both aged care and disability has ensured that we continue to provide sustainable services to those who need them most.

We are seeking a Maintenance Person who is professional, well groomed, and passionate about what they do. Our ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in a similar role and will be able to work well in a team and individually. We are looking for someone who has a passion to provide a personalised customer service experience whilst taking pride in the work they carry out

Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

• Actively working to carry out a variety of maintenance tasks around the facility

• Control of the repair and routine maintenance of plant and equipment in accordance with maintenance plans, warranties, preventative maintenance schedules, and safety standards.

• Operation and maintenance of hand and power tools and workshop machinery;

• Safety Management

Skills and Knowledge:

• Have good physical fitness to undertake manual labour

• Be committed, reliable and hardworking

• Be able to follow directions and work under limited supervision

• Good communication skills and able to work in a team

• Driver’s License

• A current police check or the ability to obtain.

• Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
