Administration Officer – Full Time

Envirobank Recycling is looking for a friendly, organised and reliable Administration Officer to join our team at our Connellan depot in Alice Springs.

This is a full-time position suited to someone with previous office and customer service experience who is confident working with customers, handling EFTPOS transactions and managing a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks.

About the Role

As our Administration Officer, you'll help keep the depot running smoothly by providing administrative support and delivering friendly, professional service to our customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing friendly and professional customer service
• Processing EFTPOS transactions and assisting with payment-related tasks
• Answering customer enquiries in person, over the phone and via email
• General office administration and data entry
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation
• Using spreadsheets, word processing and other basic office software
• Organising and prioritising daily administrative tasks
• Supporting the depot team with general administrative requirements
• Maintaining a professional and welcoming approach with customers and team members at all times

About You

We're looking for someone who is approachable, organised and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change throughout the day.

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Previous office or administration experience
• Previous customer service experience
• EFTPOS experience
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer literacy, including experience with word processing and spreadsheets
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• A friendly, helpful and professional approach
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• A high school certificate or equivalent
• Reliable transport to travel to and from our Connellan depot
