About the Role
The Sport & Community Venues Branch plays a vital role in delivering high-quality community facilities that support connection, wellbeing and participation across the Sunshine Coast. The branch manages dynamic venues that host community programs, performances, events and activities, contributing to the region's social, cultural and economic vitality. Working within this team means being part of an environment that helps bring people together and creates memorable community experiences.
As a Front of House Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for patrons, hirers and visitors, helping ensure every interaction is welcoming, professional and efficient. This hands-on role supports the day-to-day operation of Council's community venues through exceptional customer service, venue presentation, event support and cash handling. If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment and take pride in delivering outstanding experiences, this is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community.
Key Responsibilities
About you
Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
