HR Advisor

About the role

Bennco Group is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join the team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, with genuine potential to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to make a real impact from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely, practical HR advice and support to managers and employees

• Support recruitment and onboarding processes

• Oversee performance management, employee relations, and conflict resolution

• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures

• Support key HR projects and initiatives as required

• Own and maintain the integrity, accuracy, and security of employee data within the HRIS

• Assist with resource planning and allocation ahead of project kick-off, across multiple business areas

• Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies

About you

• Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or similar role

• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
