Chef – Casual Position

We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef / Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, maintaining strong food safety standards, and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the kitchen and venue team to deliver consistent, well-presented dishes and excellent service to members and guests.

·         Prepare, cook and present meals to a high standard.

·         Assist with menu preparation, daily specials and kitchen service requirements.

·         Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.

·         Ensure all food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements are followed.

·         Support stock rotation, ordering, storage and waste control procedures.

·         Work effectively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

·         Maintain a clean, organised and professional kitchen environment.

·         Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a commercial kitchen.

·         Relevant culinary qualifications are highly regarded.

·         Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe work practices.

·         Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·         Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality outcomes.

·         Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude.

·         Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
