About the role
We are seeking to establish a pool of Education Support Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2027. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role
We are ideally seeking passionate and dedicated educators who are committed to making a meaningful difference in students' lives. The ideal applicants should display expertise in explicit teaching practices and positive behaviour support, fostering improved learning outcomes, student engagement, and wellbeing.
Suitable applicants should be flexible, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and show a commitment to professional growth and collaborative team planning. You should be adept at self-reflection and continuously seeking ways to enhance your teaching practices. Experience with a range of disabilities and effective strategies for supporting individual development, Positive Behaviour Supports (PBS) and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is highly valued.
As a teacher at GPESC, you would positively lead a team of Education Assistants to foster a safe and nurturing learning space, engage actively with the school community and work closely with families, therapists, and outside agencies to drive student success.
