Assistant Sales Manager – New Vehicle Sales

Mike Carney Toyota is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Sales Manager to join our award-winning dealership in Townsville.

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing automotive sales professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership or an existing Assistant Sales Manager looking to further their career with one of North Queensland's leading automotive groups.

Working closely with the New Vehicle Sales Manager, you will assist in leading and developing the New Vehicle Sales Team while driving sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the management and leadership of the New Vehicle Sales Department

• Assisting in achieving monthly sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction targets

• Coaching, mentoring, and developing sales consultants

• Managing customer enquiries and ensuring an exceptional customer experience

• Assisting with stock control, lead management, and sales reporting

• Maintaining Toyota sales processes and standards

• Acting as the Sales Manager when required

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous automotive sales experience with a proven track record of success

• Leadership experience or a strong desire to progress into a management role

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills

• Strong organisational and time management abilities

• A customer-focused mindset and professional approach

• The ability to motivate and inspire a team

• A current driver's licence
