• Diploma of Automotive

• Certificate III & IV in Automotive

• Minimum 2 years full-time experience as a Motor Mechanic

Salary

• $70,000 to 85,000 $

Duties & Responsibilities

• Removing, disassembling and repairing worn and defective engine parts;

• Removing and disassembling transmission and steering equipment and diagnosing faults within;

• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults;

• Tyres replacement & wheel alignment, optional but can provide you training for it.

• Repairing and replacing faulty parts such as brakes, suspension, transmission, gearbox and exhaust systems;

• Performing scheduled maintenance service which may include oil and lubrication top and change, ensuring emissions compliance with environmental guidelines and general roadworthiness of vehicles;

• Knowledge of how to read and apply service manual guidelines for variety of vehicles;

• Knowledge of fault diagnosis using computers with variety of vehicles;
