FMP is a leading Medical Practice with multiple sites spanning Northern Illawarra and we are seeking a Medical Receptionist to join our amazing administration team in either a full-time, part-time or casual role.

We are looking for a receptionist that has experience in general practice and is looking for an exceptional work environment to use their talents.

Is this you?

You will be a self-motivated, friendly, bubbly person, who likes to help people.

You will already be working as a medical receptionist or in a similar role.

You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience working as a medical receptionist.

You will want to work in an inclusive, positive workplace.

You will want to be appreciated and supported by your employer and team members.

You will be patient focused.

You will have experience working with Best Practice Software or similar.

You must hold Australian permanent residency or citizenship.

You will be able to perform the following tasks:

• Welcome patients on arrival, check patients in for their appointments or help with any queries they may have.

• Manage a high volume of phone enquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.

• Schedule appointments.

• General administrative duties: Scanning, faxing/emailing, checking patient details, maintaining patient records.

• Process patient payments and Medicare.

• Banking
