What can our construction projects build for you?

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners has been selected as preferred proponent to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package. Cross River Rail is a new 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of tunnel under the Brisbane River and the CBD.

The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network.  RIS will be delivered by the UNITY Alliance which brings CPB Contractors, UGL, AECOM and Jacobs to deliver the full scope of works over the next five years. 

Your Opportunity:

As a Senior Administrator reporting through to the Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Finance and Administration teams to ensure UNITY Alliance is supported through management of incoming accounts payable and other finance items.

You will be leading a small, close knit, diverse and high performing team. They love what they do and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes.

You will be accountable for:

• Managing systems and processes to enable timely and accurate administrative recording, reporting and analysis of information
• Effectively lead, mentor and motivate a small team of administrators ensuring their adherence to quality work and productivity levels
• Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders wherever needed and demonstrate a positive, collaborative, client focused attitude and mindset

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, experience and attributes-

• Previous experience leading a small administration team
• Adaptability and flexibility to changing and evolving business environments
• Exceptional communication skills, coupled with an ability to engage and build a strong rapport with key internal and external stakeholders
• A positive and team-focused mindset and willingness to help and engage with other project team members and leaders
• Experience in JDEdwards would be very advantageous, but not essential
• Exposure to Microsoft applications
• Availability to work full time in our South Brisbane office
