About the role

Waterpoint Building Management is seeking a dedicated Strata Cleaning professional to join our team in Sydney NSW 2000. We are seeking applicants primarily for full time however are willing to also will reveiw part time applicants. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of common areas within strata-managed properties, ensuring residents and visitors experience well-maintained, hygienic environments. This role is essential to our commitment to delivering exceptional property management services across Sydney's most prestigious residential and commercial buildings.

What you'll be doing

• Performing daily cleaning of common areas including foyers, lobbies, hallways, staircases and lift areas

• Operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and machinery in a safe and efficient manner

• Removing rubbish and waste from designated areas in accordance with environmental guidelines

• Cleaning and maintaining windows, glass surfaces and exterior areas as required

• Responding to urgent cleaning requests and spill management situations promptly

• Following health and safety procedures and maintaining compliance with workplace standards

• Reporting maintenance issues or building concerns to management

• Restocking cleaning supplies and managing inventory of materials

• Working flexibly to accommodate building schedules, including early starts or weekend work when necessary

• Maintaining accurate records of cleaning schedules and activities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in strata or commercial building cleaning environments

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Physical fitness and capability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks

• Knowledge of health and safety protocols in cleaning operations

• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment operation

• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work

• Excellent communication skills with residents and management

• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain one

• A valid driver's licence is advantageous for this role
