Veterinary Nurse & Receptionist

Permanent Part Time (30-35 hours per week)

We are looking for two amazing people to join our friendly and supportive team!

We currently have opportunities for:

🐾 An Experienced Veterinary Nurse who is highly organised, passionate about patient care, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

🐾 A Veterinary Nurse / Receptionist with exceptional customer service skills who loves building relationships with clients while supporting our nursing team.

Both roles offer the opportunity to become part of a close-knit, long-standing team led by a supportive Practice Manager, where no two days are the same.

Mount Barker Veterinary Clinic has proudly cared for the pets of our community since 1948.

Our purpose-built clinic is built on kindness, teamwork and genuine care for both our clients and their much-loved animals. We are fortunate to be surrounded by the beautiful Adelaide Hills and regularly care for injured and orphaned native wildlife in partnership with local wildlife organisations.

About the Roles

Permanent Part-Time, approximately 30-35 hours per week

Responsibilities include:

• Reception and exceptional client care

In addition for Veterinary Nurse only;

• Surgical nursing

• Medical and general nursing

• Nurse consultations

• Stock control and administration

• Maintaining a clean and well-presented hospital

Hours

Rostered shifts will fall between:

• Monday–Friday: 8:00 am – 7:30 pm

• Saturday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
