Veterinary Receptionist/Nurse

Receptionist / Veterinary Nurse. 

We seek a person experienced in this field; this is not a trainee position.

Experience within a veterinary clinic would be ideal, but people from allied fields [medical, dental, dog obedience etc] may find themselves suited.

Commencing as Casual and becoming a Part-time weekday position, with a 40-hour, 9-day fortnight.

Employment conditions and Payment are commensurate with Animal Care and Veterinary Services Award (MA000118),   https://calculate.fairwork.gov.au/   $24 - $35ph pro rata

We are looking for an efficient, professional but friendly person with an ability to form a positive empathy with both clients and their pets, and a willingness to work within the tenets of Penguin Veterinary Centre with integrity and honesty

You Will Need:         Experience at reception:  desk, telephone and digital                                                            An ability to stay calm when events get stressful                                                                  Experience in handling all pets, but especially dogs.                                     .  .                                  An affinity and empathy with animals: to care for their welfare, to comfort them, to interpret their needs and behavior, to clean up after them.
