Library Officers

• Casual positions
• 1 Permanent Part Time Position: 17 hours per fortnight; 9am - 4:30pm Mondays (30 minute unpaid lunch break) and 9-12 alternate Saturdays
• These roles will work across a number of library service locations including the hub in Mortlake.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to support the delivery of excellent library service across our shared library network.

• Current Victorian driver licence
• Employee working with children check

• Experience working in Libraries and/or qualifications recognised by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA)
• Experience in working in field of community service and / or ability to identify with community needs

Experience delivering excellent customer service in a fast paced environment.

Skilled using and assisting others with technology, ability to learn and use library management software.

Knowledge of contemporary public library services, particularly readers advisory and online resources
