Electrician

Counterparts Electrical is looking for an experienced Qualified Electrician to join our growing team.

We specialise predominantly in new residential construction, working across the Sunshine Coast and North Brisbane areas. We’re looking for someone who is confident working on new homes and can complete jobs efficiently, professionally and to a high standard.

Your day-to-day work will primarily involve:

• New residential homes

• Electrical rough-ins and fit-offs

• Switchboards and mains

• Lighting and power installations

• Appliance connections

• Smoke alarms

• Data, TV and communications

• Security and alarm systems

• Testing and commissioning

• Working alongside builders, supervisors and other trades

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds a current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence

• Has previous new-build residential experience

• Can confidently complete residential rough-ins and fit-offs

• Takes pride in their workmanship

• Works efficiently without sacrificing quality

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Is reliable, organised and communicates well

• Understands the importance of keeping builders and clients happy

• Has a strong understanding of electrical safety and Australian Standards

Experience supervising apprentices would also be highly regarded.
