Salesforce Data Analyst / Techno Functional Consultant

DWS is seeking a Salesforce Data Analyst / Techno Functional Consultant to join a high-profile transformation initiative. This role will suit a consultant with strong Salesforce techncial experience, data management, reporting, governance, migration, and data modelling expertise who enjoys working closely with both functional business and technical stakeholders to deliver quality outcomes.

Where: Brisbane / Sydney / Melbourne

Type: ACN Contractor OR Max Term

Start: ASAP (max 2 weeks notice)

Length: 3+ months

Style: Brisbane (hybrid; 3+ days onsite), Sydney / Melbourne (remote)

Salary: Up to $750/day + GST (ACN) OR up to $180K inc super (Max Term)

In this role you will:

Define, document, and govern Salesforce data standards, naming conventions, validation rules, and data quality controls.Establish and maintain data governance practices that support data integrity and consistent data capture across Salesforce and integrated enterprise platforms.Define and document data migration approaches, including manual migration processes where automated solutions are not appropriate.Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and migration support activities to ensure data accuracy and business readiness.Assess business process changes, identify reporting dependencies, and evaluate the impact of system and process decommissioning.Design, develop, validate, and remediate Salesforce reports and dashboards supporting operational, compliance, and management reporting.Conduct root cause analysis of reporting and data quality issues and implement appropriate remediation activities.Develop conceptual and logical data models to support future-state Salesforce and enterprise data requirements.Document entity relationships, business rules, and target-state data structures supporting integration, reporting, and governance outcomes.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data and reporting outcomes.

To be successful you will demonstrate:

Strong Salesforce technical knowledge, including reporting, dashboards, data management, and governance.Significant experience defining and maintaining data standards, validation rules, and data quality frameworks.Substantial experience supporting data migration, transformation, reconciliation, and validation activities.Strong data modelling capabilities, including conceptual and logical data design.Proven ability to analyse business processes and translate requirements into practical reporting and data solutions.Expertise identifying and resolving reporting, data quality, and governance issues.Excellent stakeholder engagement, documentation, communication, and consulting skills.Experience working within enterprise transformation, CRM, or digital delivery programs.
