We work closely with prescribers and clinic teams to create a seamless experience for patients throughout their treatment journey.Our Caloundra team offers a supportive, collaborative environment where pharmacists and pharmacy assistants work together to provide exceptional service and clinical care.About the RoleAs Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while leading and supporting your team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the daily operations of the dispensary and ensuring efficient workflowSupporting, mentoring and developing pharmacists and pharmacy assistantsProviding professional patient counselling and medication adviceBuilding strong relationships with patients and delivering a caring, personalised experienceWorking closely with prescribers and clinic teams to support continuity of patient careEnsuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy, state and federal legislative requirementsManaging dispensary inventory, stock levels, ordering and stock controlMaintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism and patient safetySupporting ongoing improvements to dispensary processes and operationsCreating a positive, collaborative and accountable team cultureAbout YouWe are looking for a pharmacist who enjoys both patient care and leadership and wants to play an important role in the continued growth of our Caloundra dispensary.You will ideally have:Current AHPRA registration as a PharmacistApproximately 4+ years of pharmacy experiencePrevious leadership, management or Pharmacist-in-Charge experienceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsConfidence managing a busy dispensary environmentA genuine patient-first approach to healthcareStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsAn interest in medicinal cannabis and emerging areas of pharmacy practicePrevious medicinal cannabis experience is highly regarded but not essential.
