Releaf Dispensary Caloundra is seeking an experienced, motivated and patient-focused Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) to lead our established team of pharmacists and pharmacy assistants on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced pharmacist looking to step into a leadership role within a progressive and rapidly evolving area of healthcare.

About the Role

As Pharmacist-in-Charge, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the dispensary while leading and supporting your team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the daily operations of the dispensary and ensuring efficient workflow

• Supporting, mentoring and developing pharmacists and pharmacy assistants

• Providing professional patient counselling and medication advice

• Building strong relationships with patients and delivering a caring, personalised experience

• Working closely with prescribers and clinic teams to support continuity of patient care

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmacy, state and federal legislative requirements

• Managing dispensary inventory, stock levels, ordering and stock control

• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, professionalism and patient safety

• Supporting ongoing improvements to dispensary processes and operations

• Creating a positive, collaborative and accountable team culture

About You

We are looking for a pharmacist who enjoys both patient care and leadership and wants to play an important role in the continued growth of our Caloundra dispensary.

You will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist

• Approximately 4+ years of pharmacy experience

• Previous leadership, management or Pharmacist-in-Charge experience

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Confidence managing a busy dispensary environment

• A genuine patient-first approach to healthcare

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• An interest in medicinal cannabis and emerging areas of pharmacy practice

Previous medicinal cannabis experience is highly regarded but not essential. Training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
