Are you interested in electrical systems, automation, technology or figuring out how things work?
Actemium Australia is looking for motivated school leavers and aspiring tradespeople to join our 2027 Apprenticeship Program as an Apprentice Electrical Fitter Mechanic.
You’ll complete a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification while gaining hands-on experience alongside qualified electricians, technicians and engineers.

WHO ARE WE?
Actemium Australia and J&P Richardson Industries, known as JPR, are part of the global VINCI Energies group.
Our teams deliver electrical, automation and industrial technology solutions across manufacturing, food production, energy, infrastructure and other essential industries.
As an apprentice, you’ll gain practical experience across workshop and field environments while building the skills needed for a rewarding electrical career.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll work alongside experienced professionals and develop practical skills in areas such as:
Electrical installation and maintenance
Wiring and assembly of switchboards and control panels
Electrical testing, troubleshooting and fault finding
Industrial automation and control systems
Equipment commissioning and servicing
Safe use of electrical tools and equipment
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Working as part of professional workshop and project teams
No two days will be the same. You’ll gain exposure to different projects, industries and technologies throughout your apprenticeship.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for people who:
Are curious about electrical systems and technology
Enjoy problem-solving and practical learning
Are motivated and eager to develop new skills
Are reliable, safety-focused and willing to have a go
Communicate well and enjoy working as part of a team
Want to build a long-term technical career
You don’t need previous industry experience. We’re interested in your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn.
To be considered, you will:
Have completed, or be completing, Year 12
Have sound results in Maths and English
Hold, or be working towards, a manual driver’s licence
Hold, or be willing to obtain, a White Card
Experience with STEM subjects, electrotechnology, engineering, robotics, automotive studies, technical drawing, coding or a school-based trade program will be well regarded, but is not essential.
