People & Culture Advisor

About the role

As the People & Culture Advisor at Wilson Transformer Company you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the company across the People and Culture function.   This includes supporting day-to-day HR operations as well as key project work. 

Based in our Glen Waverley office, this full-time position will see you collaborate closely with key stakeholders to enhance employee engagement, support leadership development and ensure the continued growth and success of our workforce underpinned by comprehensive administrative support. Experience implementing and maintaining a HRIS system (Elmo) would be highly desirable.

The company is experiencing continued growth so a solid and strong demonstrated background in all facets of recruitment and onboarding will set this person up success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day to day operational HR advice and support in line with business objectives and legislative requirements 

• Managing all aspects of end-to-end recruitment & onboarding activities

• HRIS administration and reporting

• Performance management and talent development

• Managing end to end WorkCover claims & RTW management

• Managing exits and offboarding processes

• Lead employee engagement initiatives eg RU OK day, IWD and other like activities.

• Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing company culture

• Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced environment

• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate HR strategies into practical, value-adding solutions

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels

• Excellent administrative skillset with high attention to detail

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field

• A dynamic individual who is willing to dive in and support the entire HR team with enthusiasm and dedication.
