Sales Manager

What This Is

A part-time, remote Sales Manager role contracted to Engineered Selling — a fractional sales business. We place Salespeople to work directly inside our clients' businesses. Your role is to manage those Salespeople for performance and ensure they achieve consistent sales wins.

Who We Are

Engineered Selling has been operating for 8+ years, with our Founder and CEO being in Sales for 30 years, having achieved award-winning sales roles with large corporates such as Salesforce, Google, Symantec, and many others.

We are a Sales Performance business and focus on working with a Sales Team of Elite Sales Makers. Our Sales Team works inside our clients' businesses with them to conduct and produce sales for our clients and are paid well, long term.

What You Will Do

• Monitor and coach allocated Salespeople on hunting activity, pipeline building, follow-up, and closing technique

• Conduct regular one-on-one sessions with each Salesperson

• Report on performance and flag issues early

• Occasional client-facing engagement to maintain confidence in the service

• Utilise automation to record Salesperson activity, pulled for regular client reporting and updates — manual admin is kept to its lowest

The Structure

• Contracted to Engineered Selling — remote, part-time

• Paying up to $10,000 per month ex GST, based on the number of clients you manage

• At peak capacity, managing up to 10 clients with approximately 10 one-hour Salesperson conversations per week

• Monthly client check-ins on progress and next actions — at times involving Perry, our CEO

• At capacity, approximately 50% of your working week

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced B2B sales leader — you have managed Salespeople and know what a good Sales Maker looks like and how they should perform

• Regional-based — NSW, VIC, or QLD preferred

• Semi-retired or seeking flexible part-time work

• Comfortable working remotely with occasional client contact

• No requirement to generate leads or sell — your role is to manage and coach

• Anyone wanting full-time work

• Anyone based in a capital city CBD

• Sales trainers who have not managed live pipelines

• Anyone who needs an office or team around them to operate

• Anyone who is frequently unavailable or cannot commit to regular, consistent availability
