As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced, practical and reliable Operations Manager to lead our Building Management division, and help deliver exceptional service to our clients and teams.

About the role

As Operations Manager, you will lead and support a team of Building Managers across our portfolio, ensuring our sites are professionally managed and our service standards are consistently met.

This is a hands-on role that combines regular site visits, coaching and training, performance monitoring, compliance auditing, and client relationship management.

You'll work closely with Building Managers to maintain high standards across property presentation, reporting, safety and day-to-day operations while providing practical support whenever it's needed.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and develop a growing team of Building Managers, regularly reviewing performance through physical site inspections, documentation audits, identifying and addressing any non-compliance or underperformance

• Oversee maintenance, compliance, and client satisfaction, including the improvement and developement of operational policies and procedures

• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns promptly and effectively

• Oversee contractual obligations and deliver strategies to meet standards, budgets, and timelines

• Ensure all operations align with strata and industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

• Monitor, schedule and report on Building Managers' performance and team achievements

• On board new business and team members, providing induction and ongoing training to Building Managers

• Attend AGMs, Committee meetings and such, as required

About you

• 3–5 years' experience in strata and/or building management with proven ability to manage and coach teams to strict performance and compliance standards

• Confident communicator with strong problem solving, organisational and multi-tasking skills

• Highly developed skills in leadership, training, documentation audit, and use of building management software

• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce accountability for job role adherence

• Willingness and ability to regularly travel between all properties for in-person oversight and support

• Current driver's license and willingness to travel across Sydney and the Illawarra region
