Business Development Manager - Property Management

Ray White Mill Park is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our high-performing office and play a key role in growing our property management portfolio.

About the Role

As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, securing and onboarding new property management clients. You will turn opportunities into new managements and contribute directly to the continued growth of the business.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include prospecting for new business, meeting with rental providers, conducting rental appraisals and presenting Ray White Mill Park’s property management services with confidence and professionalism.

You will be a key representative of the Ray White Mill Park brand for prospective clients and play an important role in expanding our property management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert warm leads into new property management listings.

• Proactively prospect, network and develop referral partnerships to generate new business.

• Manage a database of prospective clients and maintain consistent, disciplined follow-up.

• Conduct rental appraisals, inspections and client presentations.

• Assist with open-for-inspections, application assessments and lease documentation when required.

• Ensure properties are well presented and ready for leasing.

• Provide regular reporting on business development activity and performance against KPIs.

• Collaborate closely with leasing, marketing and property management teams.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who combines strong property management knowledge with a genuine passion for business development.

You will have:

• A current Agent’s Representative Certificate or Cert IV in Real Estate Practice & reliable vehicle.

• Proven property management experience with demonstrated business development success.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build trust and rapport.

• Strong organisational skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Confidence conducting rental appraisals, inspections and client presentations.

• A sound understanding of real estate legislation and industry terminology.

• A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• A genuine desire to win new business and build lasting client relationships.
