Position: Full-Time Experienced Cook
Location: Stitch Coffee QVB and Stitch Coffee Broadway (Sydney)

With multiple locations across Sydney, including our flagship store at the iconic Queen Victoria Building (QVB), we focus on creating simple, bold, beautifully executed dishes using the finest ingredients.

With new stores opening soon, there's exciting opportunity to grow within the business and take on supervisor or leadership roles for the right candidate. If you're a team player with creativity, a can-do attitude, and a love for learning, you'll feel right at home with us.

• Create simple, bold, flavour-driven dishes: Cook and present meals to meet Stitch Coffee's high standards of clarity, balance, and execution.

• Collaborate with the team: Work with the Head Chef and kitchen staff to bring fresh ideas and exciting dishes to our menu.

• Maintain a clean workspace: Follow food safety protocols to keep your kitchen area spotless and organised.

• Contribute to menu development: Help craft innovative, seasonal menu items that hero great ingredients.

• Mentor and lead: Share your knowledge with junior team members to help them grow and support the kitchen's smooth operation.

• Manage inventory: Monitor stock levels and reduce wastage.

• Grow with us: Step into supervisor roles as new stores open and opportunities arise.

• Proven experience as a chef or similar role, with confidence in producing simple but bold, flavour-focused dishes.

• Minimum 3 years of professional chef experience is required for this position.

• Experience in cafe and breakfast cuisine is essential for this role.

• A passion for fresh, high-quality ingredients and thoughtful food execution.

• Someone who values teamwork, brings a positive attitude, and is eager to contribute to our success.

• Excellent communication skills with a friendly, respectful approach.

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to excel in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Knowledge of food safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

• Bonus: Experience in bread baking or pastry (highly regarded, but not essential).
