About us: 

Innisfail Hospital services include emergency department, general medical and surgical, low risk maternity (3 beds), chemotherapy (4 chairs), and renal dialysis (8 chairs). Innisfail Hospital has 49 inpatient beds and 7 emergency department treatment spaces. Beds include three high dependency unit beds and ten same day beds/bed alternatives.
The hospital serves a population of over 8000 people and is 1.5 hours' drive from Cairns. The Innisfail region is renowned for spectacular waterfalls, fishing, Mission Beach, the Family Islands, and World Heritage rainforest.

About your role:

In this position you will…..

• Work autonomously to provide high level, quality, proficient and confidential administrative/executive support whilst carrying out a range of duties in a mature and professional manner ensuring the integrity and efficiency of that office.
• Ensure the coordination and management of the Innisfail office is undertaken in a proactive and flexible manner.
• Provide efficient secretariat support for relevant Medical/Clinical meetings, this may include, coordination of meeting dates, source and organise venue, equipment, stationery, seating and catering as required, preparation of agendas, prepare, generate and distribute relevant documents (reports, correspondence etc), coordinate attendance (staff, presenters etc) and confidential minute recording and distribution.
