Health Safety Environment Advisor

Gooring Jimbila Contracting are looking for a motivated HSE advisor.We are a Traditional Owner Business. We have work at Argyle Diamond Mine Rehabilitation Project. We have two contracts, the Balance of Landforms and General Site Services.Balance of Landforms - Reshaping of landforms back to natural shape using earthmoving equipment, then ripping and seeding.General Site Services - Care and maintenance of facilities. Electrical, plumbing, grading of roadways, minor roadworks, effluent and waste removal. LV/HV workshop and maintenance.

ResponsibilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious experience in the civil construction industry is requiredEnsure that all personnel and subcontractor personnel are adequately instructed concerning safety procedures and systems and that these are complied withConduct safety investigations, prepare reports and recommendations, and implement corrective and preventative actionsDevelop & Conduct Monthly Toolbox TalksConduct regular workplace inspections
QualificationsMinimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (mandatory requirement)TAE Cert IV Training and AssessingKnowledge of local and national HSE regulations and standards.Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Excellent knowledge of HSE management systems, procedures, and best practices.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address safety concerns and resolve conflicts effectively.Rio Tinto experience desirable
