Role Overview

The Draftsperson – House & Land is a pivotal technical and operational role within our growing House & Land division. You will work closely with the Sales, Estimating, Administration and Construction teams to produce accurate, compliant and timely documentation that supports the successful delivery of every project. Leveraging your ability to interpret engineering plans, soil reports, specifications and contract inclusions, you will ensure all working drawings align with company standards and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll do

• Prepare and deliver accurate master drawings, siting plans, preliminary drawings, IFC documentation, and amendments
• Coordinate with engineers, energy raters, building surveyors, NDIS certifiers, and construction teams to obtain approvals, supporting documentation, and resolve technical queries
• Ensure all drawings comply with Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), ResCode, NDIS requirements, developer guidelines, Small Lot Housing Code, and company quality processes
• Maintain efficient project documentation, meet business performance targets for time and cost, and manage drafting variations (ETOs) within budget

About You

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a drafting role
• A relevant qualification in Building Design, Drafting, or similar
• Strong capability in ArchiCAD
