Release Manager

Cutover & Release Manager | Oracle Cloud ERP | Contract
Our client is midway through a major Oracle ERP transformation — replacing legacy finance and operational systems with a modern Oracle Cloud ERP platform. The program needs an experienced Cutover/Release Manager to join the test workstream and take ownership of cutover and release planning through UAT to go-live.
This program has fallen behind where it needs to be, so we need someone who can hit the ground running — mapping out cutover coordination, building the plans and processes that don't yet exist, and being the calm, decisive presence in the room when things go wrong at go-live.
What you'll be doing:Planning and owning the end-to-end cutover/release schedule, from lead-up through to go-liveDefining go-live roles so every team knows exactly what they're doing, and whenSetting up go-live coordination processes, including standing up and managing the ticket/issue queueBuilding detailed cutover plans, run sheets and support material to the level of granularity a complex ERP go-live demandsManaging major issues in real time during launch — thinking on your feet and adapting the plan as neededMapping out and coordinating activity across multiple work areas ahead of go-liveSupporting the Program Manager and working closely with the UAT Lead through cutover, go-live and into early life support
What we're looking for:Proven Cutover/Release Manager experience on large-scale ERP programs (Oracle Cloud ERP highly regarded)A track record of planning and running go-live events for complex, multi-workstream programsExperience setting up and running issue/ticket management processes during go-liveSomeone highly responsive, calm under pressure and comfortable changing plans on the spotAvailable to start immediately
Contract, initially through to end of November 2026 (extension likely depending on program progress).
