About the role
Street Side Medics is a not-for-profit mobile medical service led by GPs and other health professionals, delivering primary healthcare to vulnerable populations and people experiencing homelessness.
Working in partnership with established homelessness charities, shelters and support services, our aim is to improve access to healthcare and achieve better health and wellbeing outcomes for people who are vulnerable or without stable housing.
We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Lead to oversee the clinical coordination and delivery of Street Side Medics’ Primary Care Outreach service across the Adelaide region.
Working closely with our Clinical Manager, SA Service Coordinator and volunteer workforce, you will provide hands-on clinical leadership at outreach clinics and help ensure safe, effective and continuous care for our patients.
This position has a strong focus on clinical support, coordination of care, patient follow-up and operational delivery of clinics.

To succeed in this role, you will be:
Experience with vaccination services or cold-chain management would be highly regarded but is not essential.
This is a temporary 0.4 FTE position for a two-year contract, commencing October 2026.
The role is dependent on ongoing funding and may have the opportunity to continue or increase in hours as the service expands.
Some regular after-hours work will be required, currently expected to include approximately one early-evening clinic per week, with details to be confirmed.
