As demand for speciality meat cuts and tailored customer experiences continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Speciality Butcher to help lead this category and take it to the next level.

We are seeking a butcher with experience in preparing and presenting Asian-style cuts and products, including:

• Korean BBQ cuts

• Shabu Shabu slices

• Bulgogi cuts

• Sukiyaki slices

• Yakiniku cuts

• Hot Pot selections

• Thin sliced beef and pork products

• Wagyu preparation and presentation

• Other Asian-inspired value-added products

You will play an important role in helping Vic's continue to grow its speciality meat offering while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

• Preparing premium beef, lamb, pork and Wagyu products to Vic's standards

• Producing premium thin-sliced and speciality meat products for a variety of cooking styles and customer preferences

• Maintaining exceptional presentation and merchandising standards

• Working closely with customers to provide product recommendations and cooking advice

• Working closely with our retail team to deliver an outstanding customer experience

• Assisting with product development and identifying new opportunities within the Asian market

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards at all times

• Helping drive sales and growth within the speciality meat category

• Qualified butcher or extensive butchery experience

• Experience with Korean BBQ, Shabu Shabu, Bulgogi and other Asian-style cuts highly regarded

• Strong knife skills and attention to detail

• Passion for premium food and customer service

• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment

• Positive attitude and strong team player

• A genuine interest in food, cooking and premium meat products

• Ability to build relationships with customers and provide exceptional service
