About the role
West End Discount Drug Store is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Retail Assistant to join our busy, community-focused pharmacy.
With the recent addition of Lotto services, this role is perfect for someone with newsagency or Lotto experience who enjoys working with people and delivering great customer service.
Part-time or Full-time | 30–38 hours per week
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver friendly and professional customer service
Assist customers with retail products and enquiries
Process cash, EFTPOS and Lotto transactions
Maintain stock levels and merchandising
Keep the store clean, organised and welcoming
Support the pharmacy team with day-to-day operations
Experience in a newsagency, retail or customer service role
Lotto experience highly regarded
Friendly, reliable and confident with customers
Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Proactive with a willingness to learn
Supportive and team-focused environment
Busy, well-established community pharmacy
Opportunity to build Lotto and retail experience
Stable hours with flexibility (part-time or full-time)
