Re:Group is offering a paid apprenticeship pathway for Heavy Diesel (HD) Fitters working at one of our major mining projects in Thunderbird (1.5hrs out of Broome). If you’ve got the right attitude, we’ll handle the training.

What’s the Deal

• 2:1 Roster (one week of days, one week of nights)
• No trade required – we’ll enrol you in TAFE
• Hands-on experience across HD mobile plant equipment
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople on site
• Super paid on all hours worked
• Flights, meals & accommodation included
• Long-term work with genuine career progression

What You’ll Be Working On

You’ll gain exposure to servicing and maintaining equipment such as:

• Heavy mobile plant
  • Dozers up to Cat D11
  • Dump Trucks up to HD1500
  • Excavator up to EX2600
  • Grader up to 16M
  • Loader up to WA900
• Supporting breakdowns, servicing and preventative maintenance
• Learning diagnostics, fault-finding and safe work practices on site

What We’re Looking For

• No trade required – ideal for apprentices or those wanting to start one
• White Card (or willingness to obtain)
• HR drivers licence highly regarded (or willingness to work towards)
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & D&A
• Reliable, safety-focused and keen to build a career in mining
