PARAMOUNT Lawyers (Vic) Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated and experienced Property Lawyer / Conveyancer to join our legal team on a full-time basis in Truganina, Melbourne.The successful candidate will manage a broad range of residential and commercial property matters, from initial instructions through to settlement and completion.
Key Responsibilities
Manage property settlements and conveyancing transactionsHandle residential and commercial property mattersPrepare and review contracts of salePrepare and advise on Section 32 Vendor StatementsReview and prepare leases, transfers and related property documentsConduct title, planning, zoning and property searchesLiaise with clients, agents, lenders, brokers and other legal representativesAttend to settlement requirements and post-settlement mattersAdvise clients on property transactions, risks and contractual obligationsAssist with property-related disputes and litigationPrepare legal correspondence, pleadings and court documents where requiredConduct legal research and provide practical legal adviceMaintain accurate files and ensure compliance with relevant Victorian laws and procedures
About You
The ideal candidate will have:A Bachelor of Laws and current admission to practise in VictoriaExperience in property law, conveyancing and settlementsKnowledge of Victorian property law and conveyancing proceduresExperience preparing and reviewing contracts and Section 32 statementsUnderstanding of property-related litigation and dispute resolutionExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsThe ability to manage files independently and meet deadlinesA professional, client-focused and proactive approach
Experience with PEXA, conveyancing software and relevant legal practice systems will be highly regarded.
